Absolute Adventures is owned and run by a professional and experienced team who enjoy nothing more than to share their passion for the sea and adventure with locals and visitors.

Whatever experience you try, Chester and the qualified & experienced team always have your safety at the forefront of their minds.

Meet the Team

Chester is the founder of Absolute Adventures and a long-time surfer with over 20 years’ experience in the outdoor adventure industry.
He started the company in 1999 with a simple goal: to share Jersey’s incredible coastline through fun, safe, and unforgettable experiences.
Over the years, Chester has built Absolute Adventures into a well-respected and established business loved by visitors and locals alike.
When he’s not steering the ship, you’ll usually find him on the water surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, or enjoying island life with family and friends.

Mairéad has been keeping the Absolute office in check since 2017.
She keeps our customers smiling, the team organised, and everything ticking along behind the scenes - while her brother Dom runs the beach as Operations Manager, making them the ultimate sibling tag team.
When she’s not “in the box” chatting to customers, you’ll find her adventuring in her microcamper van, exploring the coastline with Murphy (our trusty office dog), or snorkelling along Jersey’s incredible shores.
Always powered by a steady supply of tea from Solshine, she’s always happy to help get you out on an adventure and Murphy can’t wait to meet you too!

Dom joined the Absolute crew in 2019, bringing with him a depth of experience from outdoor centres both locally and in the UK.
Now in his eighth year at Absolute, he runs the show day-to-day down on the beach, making sure everything (and everyone) is dialled in. A well-qualified paddler and passionate coasteerer, Dom’s calm leadership and technical know-how are a huge part of what keeps our sessions safe, slick, and fun.
He also shares a family connection with the team, with his sister Mairéad keeping the office running smoothly since 2017 - making the siblings a bit of a dream team down the bay.
When Dom isn’t at work, you’ll usually find him spearfishing, paddle boarding, or chatting away with the locals at Solshine - caramel flat white firmly in hand.

Kevin is our Technical Expert and a long-time friend of Absolute Adventures.
He’s been part of the journey since the very beginning and continues to play a key role behind the scenes. With over 30 years in the outdoor adventure industry, Kevin brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and experience, which he generously shares with our team.
Widely respected as a paddler, his guidance helps shape how we operate on and off the water.
More often than not, Kevin can be found paddling a stretch of Jersey’s coastline, always keen to share his knowledge and skills with others
