Blokarting: You must be 8 years old to operate your own cart. Children aged 5-7 can go in a side cart attached to a parent or guardians cart
SUP sessions: Children must be 8 years old to join Single or Mega SUP sessions
Classic Coasteering: Participants must be 8 years old and confident swimmers to join classic coasteering
RIB coasteering: Participants must be 10 years old and confident swimmers to join classic coasteering
Kayak Tour: Children aged 8+ can join the kayak tours independently
We can take children aged 6 plus on kayak tours if they go in a double with a parent or guardian.
RIB blasts or Scenic RIB tours: Anyone aged 5+ can go on our RIB tours.
Inflatable rides: Everyone has to be 8 years old to go on the sofa or lilo rides
SUP of Kayak rentals: Our minimum age requirements are aged 8 to go out on a kayak or SUP alone and aged 5 to go in a double kayak with a parent or guardian. Please note, these age requirements are subject to change at the discretion of the beach team on the day based on weather conditions.

We do not take provisional bookings. A booking is not considered secured or confirmed until we have received full payment. The only exception to this is private bookings for youth groups or schools where a 25% deposit is needed to secure the booking. More details can be found about this here.

You must have shoes you can get wet for our coasteering and kayaking adventures. Trainers you’re happy to get wet or aqua shoes are ideal. Flip-flops and slides are NOT allowed. The shoe must be fastened to your foot.

There are public toilets in St Brelade’s Bay which you can used to get changed into your swimwear if you’d like.

Yes, we do take private bookings. Please email info@absoluteadventures.je and let us know what activities you're interested in, when you’re available and how many of you there are.

Providing your child is 8 years or above, we don’t need an adult to join but if your child is under 18 an adult must sign them in at the start and sign the acceptance of risk form at the start of the session.

Wetsuits are provided free of charge for coasteering, kayaking and SUP sessions. Wetsuits are not provided for rentals or inflatable rides.

We don’t have storage for large items but you can put a bag/ backpack in the back of our landrovers on the beach for the duration of your adventure. We don’t have lockers available for valuables but you can put them in your bag and put them in the boot of our landrovers.

You don’t need to book in advance for rentals, just go down to the blue landrovers on the beach when you’d like to go and speak with the team there. We’re typically open for rentals between 10:30am and 4:30pm 7 days a week but this does change depending on the weather and how busy the beach is.
We can take bookings in advance for rentals if you’re wanting to hire at least £400 worth of equipment. We do require payment at the time of booking though and these bookings cannot be made for the same day.

We only take bookings in advance for inflatable rides if you are privately hiring the whole ride.
1 private ride = £70
2 private rides = £135
3 private rides = £202.50
4 private rides = 270
Each ride lasts 15 minutes and can take a maximum of 8 people. If you want to book a private ride please call 07829 881111 and we can take payment over the phone and book your private ride(s) in. We are unable to take private bookings over the phone for the same day. If you’d like to book a ride on the same day, you have to do it at the blue landrovers on the beach.

You can only book inflatable rides over the phone if you’re hiring the whole ride out (please see above). We do not accept any bookings over the phone for inflatable rides going that day. If you’d like to book a ride that day you must do it at the blue landrovers at the beach.

St Brelades Bay office: If you’d like to ask questions about our activities or book in for days or weeks ahead, stop by and see our office staff to discuss options. When you get to the beach, you’ll find our office and coffee shop on the promenade above the beach next door to the Oyster Box restaurant

You can book with us easily through our online website, or if you fancy a trip down to the beach, our friendly team will be there ready to help! For rentals and inflatable rides, bookings must be made in person at the beach.

We offer loads of fun activities ranging from a more chilled stand up paddle board session, to a higher energy coasteer! Meaning all abilities are welcome to enjoy a fun-filled beach day with absolute adventures.

We provide all the necessary equiptment, just bring yourself a swimming costume and a towel!

All of our vouchers are valid for 12 months and you can pick between an activity specific voucher or a generic monetary voucher depending on what would suit your recipient best. Prices are from £20 and up to £200.

Yes! being able to swim is an important requirement for most of our activities. But, if you still fancy taking part in activity and can’t swim, we offer blokarting which is a beach activity so everyone can still have fun!

We provide different equiptment for different activities, for more hard-core activities like coasteering, we will give you helmets, life jackets and water shoes! If you are taking part in a more chilled session like paddle boarding we will provide you with a life jacket!

Yes! Most of our activites are child friendly, the only 18+ activity is the Sundown kayak Tour.

Definatly, for coasteering we offer a rookie route. Our Rookie route is the perfect beginners option to help introduce your children to coasteering. We start with a 15 minute safety briefing and then head out on the water for an hour where the group will scramble over rocks and try rock jumping too. As well as this, nervous first timers are welcome on all of our general activities, you would never have to do anything you were not comfortable with.

Our first priority is safety, so if our team decided that the weather conditions are not suitable then unfortunately this means we will have to cancel. But we always run our activities if it is only rain!

Yes! We run our activities in the rain. This wont affect your booking as you will be getting wet in the water anyways!

Yes, if you cancel your booked tour 10 or more full days in advance you’ll be given the option to rebook or receive a full refund. Cancelling 9-4 full days in advance you will be given the option to rebook or you can receive a credit note for the full amount that will be valid for 12 months. Cancelling 3 full days ahead of less, you will not given the option to rebook and will not receive a refund.

Our first priority is safety, so if out qualified team say the conditions are unsafe, then unfortunately we will cancel our sessions.

We offer wetsuits and all the necessary safety equiptment, so all you will need is your costume.

The session involves swimming, climbing and jumping. So ensuring you are a confident swimmer, a basic level of fitness should be great!

Depending on your ability and what you fancy, we have a classic coasteer, RIB coasteer and a rookie route. The classic coasteer involved a walk down from the beach to the rocks and the RIB coasteer offers a boat ride out to where you will be jumping! If you are after a slightly more beginner-friendly session our rookie route is perfect.

Yes definitely! Out kayak sessions are great for beginners. Our very qualified instructors go over all the basics and are always close to give you a hand.

Our kayak tours are a instructor led tour of the Jersey coastline, where as renting a kayak involves having the kayak on your own, and being able to go at your own pace.

For kayaking, we will provide a buoyancy aid. So all you will need is a swimming costume! if it’s hot we would advise a hat or some sunglasses.

Yes! As long as the child is at least 8 years of age. Sometimes we require a child is paired with an adult, depending on what the weather and tide looks like.

I would advise that you book one of our SUP lessons, just to ensure you have got the basics down! But it is not required, as long as you are a comfortable swimmer.

Yes! We offer Stand up paddle boarding lessons for people of all abilities.

All you would need is a swimming costume and a towel. We provide wetsuits and life jackets, but if you would like you can bring your own wetsuit.

We do not allow two people do share single SUP’s. But, we offer Mega SUP sessions that can fit up to 6 people! These are great fun for families!

Depending on what the tide is looking like on the day, our RIB’s can get a little bumpy.

We offer a private RIB charter that allows you and your group to enjoy an adventure all to yourself.

For Stag and hen groups, trips like our coasteering if everyone are comfortable simmer and up for a good adventure would great fun! As well as this our RIB charters involve a tour of the south west coast of Jersey, where you can stop, have some nibbles and a couple of drinks.

For team-building, our Mega SUP’s are a great option. This involves lots of games and requires some great team-work opportunities. As well as this kayaking is a good option, we do double kayak’s, giving people the chance to work together, as well as having lots of fun!

Yes, we offer private boat activities and private group adventures. This gives you the chance to enjoy our activities at your own pace.

We offer corporate events, within this we run a teambuilding session 3 activity sessions and a 30 minute lunch break! Within our package we can tailor the sessions and themes to suit to your teams preferences.

There are toilets dotted around St Brelades that you can change back into your dry clothes after a session.

Unfortunately, we do not allow spectators to come along on our adventures, for most of our activities, there is nowhere to spectate from. If you would like to watch family and friends, you would have to book onto the adventure as well.

We run a seasonal calendar, our activities are available from May through to September.

This can vary depending on what activity you are interested in, for a more physical activity like coasteering. This would include jumping, swimming, climbing and scrambling. So I would suggest having a moderate level of fitness. But, our other activities like the sofa ride or RIB tours, we would only require that you are a comfortable swimmer.

For most of our activities I wouldn’t advise bringing mobile devices with you as they would likely get wet causing damage.

St Brelades offers parking and has two main parking lots that you can pay to park in for the duration of your activity.

For most of our activities arrive at your given time, but for our inflatable rides arriving ten minutes early is what we ask. This gives time to get your lifejackets and head protectors on!
